Andrew Ayres

My name is Andrew Ayres and I am the managing director of indigoskills. My role is to make sure that the training and assessment our company provides, meets and exceeds all the national standards and is appropriate for the needs of all our stakeholders.
I have been involved in the delivery of work based vocational learning for over 15 years, in that time I have worked closely with my colleague Linda Powell to develop training and assessment programs that met the needs of the businesses that we and ensure that our courses are constantly developing to be best placed to offer our clients value for money and exceed their expectations.
I am proud to introduce the rest of our team here and we look forward to seeing you soon.

 

Linda Powell

My name is Linda Powell and I am a Director at indigoskills.  My background is Human Resource Management and Training and I have been involved in training and development for over 26 years.  I have many and varied roles within indigoskills, foremost being that of Lead Verifier which gives me the opportunity to monitor delivery of training, support my colleagues to ensure we continue to offer quality and excellence and work with our employers, large and small to warrant that our delivery meets all their business requirements.    We will continue to develop our business, working with major corporations in the South East to expand our portfolio and share knowledge and expertise.  I very much look forward to working with you.

 

Aimi Driver

My name is Aimi Driver and I am a Skills for Life Manager at Indigo Skills. My role as both a manager and teacher, is to manage and take responsibility for the development and day-to-day running of all Skills for Life programmes. I organise, plan and deliver all Skills for Life programmes, including Literacy, Numeracy, ESOL and Functional Skills up to Level 2. I thoroughly enjoy my role and gain great satisfaction out of empowering people, giving them the skills and confidence to continue their lifelong learning.

 

Andrew Davidson

My name is Andrew Davidson, I am the Lead Assessor at Indigoskills. I assess qualifications for the hospitality industry, as well as teaching a range of training courses from First Aid, Health and Food Safety and provide consultancy services, providing advice and guidance for setting up HACCP systems to ensuring the businesses comply with food safety and health and safety regulations. Before joining Indigoskills I held the position of Group Executive Chef, running the kitchens of two large four star hotels in the Gatwick area. I have over 24 years of experience working within the hospitality industry and have always had a passion for training people to enable them to have the skills, confidence, knowledge and abilities to further their own careers.

 

Ros Southcott

My name is Ros Southcott and I teach Skills for Life programmes.  I’m a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development specialising in learning and development.   I’ve spent many years planning, delivering and evaluating learning programmes in both public and private sector organisations.  Having become convinced of the key role that higher levels of literacy and numeracy among employees can play in company profitability, I’ve recently undertaken additional post-graduate teaching qualifications and now teach the exciting new Business Maths and Business English programmes.

 

Sue Ayres

My name is Susan Ayres, I carry out the basic administration to help back up other indigoskills staff in their jobs.   I co-ordinate all the courses we offer for different aspects related to the sale of alcohol including the  Level 2 Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, Health and Safety and Food Safety at all levels and Emergency First Aid. This includes sending out joining instructions, course books and dealing with payments.   I also deal with Personal Licence Applications which frequently result from  attendance at one our courses. This includes obtaining a CRB check and applying to the appropriate local authority on their behalf.  I assist with enquiries relating to NVQ’s, Modern Apprenticeships and Skills for Life and co-ordinate packs to register new students.
